God chose Weak Vessels to Glorify Him

Jesus beat the wiles of the devil while on He was on an empty stomach while in the  desert for 40 days.
Jesus beat the wiles of the devil in the most critical situation of being arrested, mocked, scourged, tortured. Jesus ultimately defeated the devil in His 'grave'.
Notice the state that Jesus was in were all in the 'weak' state.
He is fully God, yet He didn't use His "divine" powers but completely relied on the Holy Spirit by walking out the fullness as a Son of God. He literally paved a demonstration in how we will be in Christ. So He didn't use His own divine powers but relied on the Holy Spirit, just like how we will be relying on the Holy Spirit.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,  but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.  Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,  that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,  and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:6-11

Because just like Jesus completely relied on God for His strength, He was able to become the perfect sacrifice for all humanity. The spotless lamb that was slain for all our sins. Taking all our weaknesses and made such a way that in our state of weakness of the flesh, we no longer should live in it, but now live and walk by His Spirit. The Holy Spirit. Where just like how Jesus completely relied on the Holy Spirit and abided with God, the Father, He also made a way for us to abide with God the Father. Everything that Jesus had, now is given the same to us.
Because when we come to receive Christ, Christ is IN us.

And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. - John 17:10

(we are literally Jesus' answered prayer)

Christ in us, empowers us in our weakness. We now have the constant choice daily to deny our old man (the death nature) that wrestles constantly against the new man (Christ within us, Spirit) in who will reign.

The scripture in Galatians 5:16-26 explains very well the difference between the old death nature versus Christ's nature (the spirit).

"I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.  For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. "  (^this is where a lot of us are struggling to defeat the sin)

"But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. " (We abide and obey the Holy Spirit, and that will lead us to the fruits of the Spirit)

[FLESH ATTRIBUTES]
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,  idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

(This is a warning but also an invitation for us to come to Christ and obey and abide in Christ. Because the reward is so much greater than the temporary pleasures that will only lead to destruction. Example, drugs, many taken this path, will get a temporary high, but long term run, it will cause brain damage and a lot of issues. This is a path leading towards death. That's why God desires us not to be on the sin road, but on His road, because God's road leads to life!)

[SPIRIT ATTRIBUTES]
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

When Jesus walked, He walked by the Spirit. He obeyed everything that we cannot on our own. But He also paved a path for us to walk in His Spirit, so we can learn to walk in God's spirit. As we come to Christ, and we come to learn to know Jesus. We come to learn His love, His Holy nature. We will continue to learn to abide in Him. We become born again, but our minds will need to be renewed. Our minds will be used to the fleshly ways. But the more we read God's word, learn who God is through Christ, and surrender to God's will, the more the death nature is crucified and making more room for Christ's life to grow and manifest in and through us, that will bear much fruit.

PURPOSES OF WEAKNESS AND TRIALS
But we will also face the same enemy, the devil who will try to hinder us from staying in this path of Christ. And that's where trials come in. But the bible says, we count it joy when we face trials. Why? Because it is an opportunity that will challenge the "old man's / flesh" reign. It is a conquest in the soul of our being, for it to submit to new reign, Christ. So the more life of Christ's resurrection life will be birthed through these challenges.

It also not only tests our faith, but the testing allows us an opportunity to choose Christ's Spirit than the death nature, and this will take patience. But with patience and endurance, the bible describes this as the first 'Love' attributes. "Love is Longsuffering". In the moment where we have a trial that calls us to choose patience, it is an opportunity for us to tell God "We love You. We choose You God. Just like You loved us and You chose us." It's an opportunity in the trial to reciprocate the love that Jesus gave us when He endured and bear the cross.

“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him.”
(James 1:12)

Now I write this not to bring any condemnation or judgement to anyone, if you read this and felt like a failure. Please don't fall in the trap of the enemy's lies saying that you are a failure. Condemnation has no part for those who are IN CHRIST (in the Spirit). Our identity, as followers of Christ no longer dwells in the place of the FLESH. But of the SPIRIT. Our identity is in CHRIST.
The whole point that Jesus came was to cover that part. So that when we do stumble and fall, let us run to God in our weaknesses. Run to Christ. So His life can reign and not the flesh. Run to and repent (change your way and return) to God, Jesus' blood covers over that. And we get to get back up and get back in the lane of the SPIRIT. That is where GRACE of God kicks in. Grace is the empowerment, the labor of God that allows us to be empowered to walk in the Spirit in ways we could never have done so before. Grace is not a license, or an excuse for us to continue on the path of SIN(flesh), but grace is a labor of God, an empowerment that allows us to get back on the RIGHT track in the SPIRIT so we can continue to be transformed inside out. And we are learning to love God in the process. As Christ life grows within us. And where Christ is, there is always going to be victory.

Because when Jesus, the Lord of Lords, and King of Kings came in human flesh,
He beared all the weaknesses that we are tempted. Yet He did not sin. He overcame. Now He is the perfect life that God has given to all humanity. All those who receive, will OVERCOME all states of weaknesses. And Jesus will be multiplied in the multitudes in all nations. AMEN.

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
 (John 16:33)

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
(1 John 4:17)

Cast away from you all the transgressions that you have committed, and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! Why will you die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; so turn, and live.”
(Ezekiel 18:31-32)
