God said "HIGH Way: Lesson of Faith

 I was on my way to bible study. There were many routes I could take.

But in this particular day in 2024, God said "Go on the Highway". 

I submitted to His instructions and I was enjoying my conversations I had with the Lord in the vehicle as I was driving. 

I was getting on the ramp, I had worship music blasted and just singing and talking to the Lord.

To my surprise, as I was exiting the ramp, I saw a huge line up of cars. 

The traffic was packed and I couldn't see the end of it. 

My natural mind and emotions was immediately hit with questions. 

"Wait, did I hear God right?"

"You are going to be so late for the bible study."

A creeping feeling of panic started to arose. But my Spirit man said "No."

I was having too much glorious time with Jesus, and there is no way the traffic jam is going to steal my joy in the Lord. 

I just thought, " Okay, Your Word said no fear and so don't stress about it.If anything Lord, I am having more time to worship with You!" 

I continued to stay on the first lane as I exited the ramp and my mind out of habit was thinking of another route. But somewhere I know God said to come to the Highway.

 I remained on the same straight path. Cars everywhere. I soon found out there was an accident on the highway. As I always do, I began praying for the people and the accident and as I drove passed. I began to noticed that after passing that area, the entire highway all the way was a complete clear path. 

Even the part of the highway where there is usually jam packed slow down was completely clear! 

 GLORY TO THE MOST HIGH!

I was driving and singing and shouting to the Lord! HALLELUJAH!

And then, My Lord began teaching me.

"That is the image of FAITH". 

Within a matter of seconds, the Lord began speaking and giving me understanding which also will help with leading the bible study lesson and few of issues. It was the issue of seeing past the natural.

You see, when God speaks a Word. Often times, immediately when you submit to God's word in obedience, resistance in the natural will look completely opposite. It doesn't look like what God spoken. Just like how God spoke to go on the Highway. I was immediately hit with all of the traffic jams, and it immediately was a test of faith. Because doubt started to hit, confusion started to hit and fear/stress. This is just a small example but a prototype to many area of our lives. 

FAITH is something that God requires us to have in order to get to where He desires us to go to. 

God is a good God who desires to give us perfect gifts. But there are resistances in life, obstacles in our soul, and life that God can use these moments of resistances to expose areas of our lives for us to conquer in HIM. 

Doubt be conquered with Trust.

Fear be conquered with FAITH and courage.

Going through the immediately fire requires Endurance , patience and Trust with strength in God.

To believe who GOD truly is and who He says HE is. 

Because God's Word is final. 

What He says is always true. And...His Word takes us on the "High way" up in Him.

Elijah obeyed God when God gave him a Word to meet the widowed lady and ask her for bread. In the natural was hit with the fact , they were in scarcity times. And the widowed lady even mentioned she was on her way to make her last meal for son and herself and die. God's Word and Elijah obedience to that have not only provided food for Elijah, it also saved this widowed lady and soon we see the story that the Son also died but came back to life. God knew exactly how to save this entire family. God not only saved physically, but God came to heal that widowed mother. The mother was living in condemnation. The first thing she mentioned when her son died was that she was being punished for her sins. Could it be that God was trying to reach to her, and not only provided physical food for 3 months through the miracle of the flour and oil flourishing but God also was reaching to her soul and as well saving her son?! God is so mighty and amazing. His ways are Higher than our ways. Elijah's obedience in faith in God has opened a highway and as pressing into the resistance of it all, we see in this story, the beautiful hands and heart of God unfolded.

As I was driving, I didn't know what the bible study entailed. But the Lord already knew ahead. I had to learn this "highway" Lesson, as it was the Word He wanted me to impart to the ladies at the bible study. And behold, it was also the area where the Lord have been speaking about, FAITH when we don't see or don't see what God's speaking about.

The night was full of stirring and deliverance. God has spoken it. It was beautiful, powerful and ongoing walk with Jesus.

 

 Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is in the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of the drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit" 

(Jeremiah 17:7-8 RSV).
